Foliage

Scholars believe Foliage was once part of Anthos, but it must have been a long time ago, as the streams have carried it far and wide. Once, it and Anthos perhaps formed a single island, but the land that was Foliage slowly disintegrated, for unknown reasons. Today, it’s little but a floating mass of vegetation, trees whose roots stick out into thin air, clumps of earth and dirt clinging to the woodwork where they fit.

A few truly enormous trees exist in the Foliage, and these are home to loose tribes calling themselves by all manner of names. Skytopians know them collectively as the Tree-People. It is said they scurry up and down the bark, make their homes in the trees like squirrels, and farm the leaves and fruits of the trees for sustenance.

There is a single solid island left in the tangled mass – home to a village that has stubbornly resisted subjugation. The region is difficult to navigate, so reaching the village is no mean feat, and it doesn’t help that the people there allegedly possess superhuman strength.
